Red Hat Launches Platform as a Service Offering

   Raleigh, North Carolina  --  Open source technology company Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) announced the official launch of its new public Platform-as-a-Service cloud offering.

Called OpenShift Online, the service provides developers with access to the company's global support services and its full suite of open source PaaS solutions.

The service provides support for multiple programming languages and allows for a low barrier to entry.

For a monthly fee, developers that subscribe to the Silver tier will also have access to technical support and additional platform resources.

Pricing starts as low as $20 per month and will include a payment option for euros.
